Plow Creek Farm, farm manager Neil Horning, Natural Growers
Plow Creek Farm is a business of Plow Creek Fellowship located on 159 acres in Tiskilwa. They are committed to stewardship of our planet, the health of their workers and customers. Plow Creek uses farming techniques that increase the health of the soil, and do not spray any poisons on their crops. They specialize in strawberries, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. This year they will also be growing a wide variety of vegetables for us.

Growing Home, farm manager Larry O'Toole, Certified Organic
Growing Home is a social enterprise, certified organic agriculture business that produces and sells fresh produce at farmers markets and to restaurants throughout the Chicago area. Growing Home's transitional employment program serves homeless and low-income people through training and work in urban agriculture. We are currently purchasing greens and basil from their 10 acre farm in Marseilles. They are certified by the Midwest Organic Services Association (MOSA).

Genesis Growers, farmer Vicki Westerhoff, Natural Growers
Genesis Growers is a 20 acre vegetable farm located in St. Anne, IL. They specialize in a wide variety of salad and cooking greens as well as herbs. They also grow a number of unique heirloom varieties of melons, peppers and tomatoes. Check out their link above to learn about Vicki's unique start in organic farming.

Coneflower Farm, Zehr family, Natural Growers
Coneflower Farm is a small family farm located in Tiskilwa, IL. They grow a wide variety of vegetables for local customers and a nearby farmers market as well as for Natural Direct. New this year will be some early season lettuce grown in a cold frame.

Future Fruit Farm, Lane Family, Certified Organic
Future Fruit Farm is a beautiful orchard located in Ridgeway, WI. They produce a number of unique apple and pear varieties as well as delicious fruit butters.

Whispering Oaks Farm, farmer LaVern Kropf, Certified Organic
LaVern grows summer squash, bell peppers, watermelon and winter squash on his family farm in Tampico, IL. His hard work produces the largest green peppers I have ever seen.

Tiny Greens, farmer Bill Bagby, Certified Organic
Bill's farm is a greenhouse in Urbana, IL. He produces a large variety of sprouts and wheatgrass. The greenhouse is very energy efficient, built into a hillside and a sod roof. He also has designed a natural water filtration system for their waste water.

Prairie Fruits Farm, farmer Wes Jarrell and Leslie Cooperband, Certified Organic/Natural Growers
Prairie Fruits Farm is a 7 acre small farm in Urbana, IL, consisting of fruit trees, berries and goat pasture. The fruit operation is certified organic. The goats are used to produce fine cheeses in Illinois' first farmstead cheese facility. The goats are raised naturally in a more loving manner than is allowed for in the organic regulations.

Igl Farm, Igl family, Certified Organic
Igl Farms is a 200 acre potato farm located in Antigo, WI. They produce 3 varieties of their 'Organic Spuddies'; Red, Russet and Yukon Gold potatoes.

Harmony Valley Farm, farmer Richard de Wilde, Certified Organic
Harmony Valley Farm is a large 200 acre farm in Viroqua, WI with 100 acres in vegetable production. They specialize in high quality greens and root vegetables. They are also certified by MOSA.
